The Preserved Seed Cafe ....On The Move
The Preserved Seed Cafe ....On The Move

I happened upon a café of sorts, you could call it a traveling café or a café on the move. I was at a music festival over the weekend “Vancouver Folk Music Festival” which showcased musicians from all over the world. Asides from the music, there were activities for children and adults along with a great big food fair. New this year was “The Preserved Seed Café” a fancy looking café built out of wood, it was by far the nicest looking eatery on site. The menu was simple and the lineups formed, I was intrigued and soon ordered their “Cheesy Almond Wrap” which was filled with almonds, nuts, salad and shredded cheeses. On a repeat visit following friends advice telling me to go and try their Yerba Matte Latte, a friend and I did just that. They also had a green chai, organic coffees and sweets such as butter pecan bars. Curiousity lead us on a path to discovering where this great traveling café was from and we learned that there was much to learn about the roots of their community. The Preserved Seed Café can be found in Nelson, BC
