Stumptown Coffee Roasters Stumptown Coffee Roasters, 1115 12th Avenue, Seattle

My new favorite cafe in Seattle is Stumptown Coffee Roasters, the ultimate destination for coffee purists. On a recent visit to Stumptown in Capitol Hill, my cousin who was in Seattle on business joined me and my brother as we checked out this café that my friends were raving about. My cousin had a latte and I had a machiatto and both were truly stellar. This is the place where the coffee rules, the “Hairbender” is their espresso used for all of their espresso drinks (you can also buy whole beans packaged to take home).

The ambiance is perfect, totally minimalist, little tables, tall ceilings, big windows and free Wi-Fi. In my opinion they could use some larger tables to enhance their customers experience, Wi-Fi is a great perk though it would be better if their were larger tables for the laptops to sit allowing customers to use the Wi-Fi to browse the web while sipping their coffee. There is a selection of baked goods and pastries from Macrina (a bakery in Belltown) to accompany your stellar coffee. For non coffee drinkers the menu features Mexican coke.

There is a real passion at Stumptown and the coffee drives enthusiasts to sip, taste, savor and enjoy.
