Caribou Coffee, 501 Washington Avenue, Minneapolis
In this
living room with cozy seating and a fireplace, I found great coffee and an extensive
lineup of beverages on the menu. Their ‘wild’ specialty beverages include
drinks such as the “Turtle Mocha”, “Mint Condition”, and “Campfire Mocha” which
combines all the camping favorites including marshmallow bits, chocolate
shavings and whipped cream. . Their ‘espresso’ beverages include the regular
line up as well as their “Northern Lite Lattes”. On the ‘classics’ menu you
will want to try the “Depth Charger” made with black coffee with a shot of espresso
or one of their “Reindeer drinks” is creamy steam milk infused with caramel,
vanilla, raspberry, or any flavor you choose. On the ‘cold’ menu, try a “Cold
Press Iced Coffee” or one of their smoothies. The ‘tea’ menu has a good
selection of black, green and herbal tea. Muffins, cookies, scones, sandwiches
are available to accompany your beverages as you partake in the Caribou coffee
experience.
