Earth Cafe Marrakech, numb 2, Derb Zawak, Riad Zitoun Kedim, Medina, Marrakech, Morocco
Earth Café Marrakech is the first organic, vegetarian, vegan café restaurant in Marrakech and Morocco, it's the vanguard for great tasting and nutritious vegetarian/vegan foods and beverages
The chef -Australian-moroccan- developed completely vegetarian food with a menu that changes regularly, influenced by flavors of many cultures, Mediterranean, Moroccan, Asian, and European. He sources ingredients from his own farm and from local suppliers and uses typical natural local ingredients: spices, herbs, dried herbs, dried fruits, dates,…that offers a lovely assortment of foods that are not only healthy, delicious and nutritious, but also appealing to the eye as well as the palate, don't miss : "vegetarian pastilla" fulfilled with fresh vegetables and dressed with a sauce made with dried raisin and figs, "Earth's mix" a healthy and tasty blend of dried herbs and the selection of "veg tapas" and fresh squeezed juices
Earth Café Marrakech is located in an old riad of the Médina, it's a traditional Moroccan house designed piece by piece with carefully chosen artwork from local artists and antiques, that create an artsy and soulful atmosphere. The comfy sofas, natural sun rays lighting and multiple colors add warmth to the surroundings allowing guests to feel welcomed and relaxed, free to linger over a cup of tea, coffee or a healthy lunch.
Earth Café Marrakech is a place to appreciate healthy gourmet food at very affordable prices ranging from 2 to 6 euros, hot drinks and fresh juices are all at 1,50 euros, to relax from the sounds and movement of the Médina, the owner and his staff are very friendly and give good and useful advices to go throughout Marrakech.
A nice gift shop is located in Earth Cafe, where you can buy natural oils like olive oil and argan oil (pressed by the owner) an others, also olives, tapenades, marmelade and dressing prepared at the Cafe, the packages are mostly hand decorated with nice typical moroccan designs.
