Located in the heart of the dowtown area of Halifax this is a great spot to relax and enjoy a hot chocolate or one of the many other drinks available. The Tazo Refresh Tea is perfect for those wanting to keep away the onset of a cold. 

Starbucks prides itself on friendly and courteous staff and fast service and this privately owned branch of the chain is excellent in this regard. 

The staff are generally trained to be knowledgeable about the various types of coffees they have. This ranges from how to grind the beans to the various differences in taste. The menu for light and strong brewed coffees is generally changed weekly.

For those of you wanting to sit and enjoy the cafe atmosphere there are even chess and checkers games you can play whilst keeping out of the cold and enjoying your coffee by the fire. 

In keeping with modern cafe trends, Starbucks also has a selection of merchandise available as well from CD's and gift cards to Coffee mugs and various other products.
