Bugsy, Florentin 26, corner of Washington Ave.Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv

Bugsy is a bistro-bar-café-restaurant located in the Florentin neighborhood of Tel-Aviv. Especially on the somewhat run-down setting of this old neighborhood, Bugsy stands out in its New-Yorkish lounge style. The clientele is mainly 25+ locals during the day, and a more music-loving crowd at nights, when different DJs play varied music, from electronic through jazz and hip hop, dark eighties and to Israeli music. They serve a variety of breakfasts and brunches (the smallest being just coffee and a croissant, and the biggest offering roasted antricot, two eggs, antipasti, sweet potato fingers, a salad, home baked bread, a light drink and coffee to wash this all down…), lunches including a business menu (sandwiches, salads, tarts, hamburgers, grilled chicken breast, stews and more), different homemade deserts (home made ice creams, cakes, and Krembo – this is an Israeli sweet. Worth a try if you never had one before…) . At night they serve special cocktails, beers and tapas.
